Has anyone else been in awe of the knives that are being offered for sale at Nordic over the last few weeks? Many of them are the ones that I use to drool over in the Points of Interest books. Cronk, Rigney, Schneider, Carter, etc. - some real gems are being unloaded.

In particular, I have admired this Schneider/Blanchard dagger since I first saw it in POI in the 80s. Sure wish I had $15,000. :(

From what I understand, they are all from a certain Swiss industrialist's collection, who bought a LOT of knives in the eighties and nineties.

I'm surprised that the Cronks aren't selling. In the good ole' days, it use to be impossible to even find one.

If I had the money I would swoop up all the Cronks, Rigneys, Schneiders and Carters that Dave has for sale right now. And what about those daggers/short swords by Sid Birt and Billy Mace Immel:cool::thumbup:

And just that quick, my dagger has been sold. Guess I'll have to wait another 25 years. :(

I thought I recalled that these current Cronk offerings were out of Japan rather than the Eric Meyer collection. Maybe I misunderstood what I heard.
