I would like to buy a higher quality Swiss Army "Spartan" pocket knife. I like the functions and size but, the steel is just too soft. I use it a lot so the tools are dulling and the blade, well it is easy to dull and sharpen! :)

I thought AG Russell made a BG-42 Swiss Army knife but, I didn't see one on their site. Does anyone else make a similar knife out of a modern steel that is not stamped?

TIA,
Sid

SwissBianco does runs of Victorinox SAKs with damascus blades that supposedly outperform the standard INOX by a large margin. Pricey though. Check their forum here.

The excellent japanese company G. Sakai has a kind of high end SAK. The 2 blades in it are made from superlative ZDP189 steel.
