I'm obviously new to the community and have only done some light research. Angel Swords look quite nice but seem quite expensive (I've also read less than positive things about the man himself). Albion has an incredible selection of different swords. Dark-Sword Armory has some very attractive swords as well.
I'm here to ask you folks if I were to travel back in time to the Medieval times, who makes a sword that would function as a legitimate weapon in battle. I ask because I'm a big fan of authenticity - I doubt I'd ever actually use it as a weapon but having a knock-off just doesn't sit well with me (which is why I own a CMP M1, my own custom AR in 6.8 etc). It doesn't need to be a replica or anything but something that is completely functional.
I like swords with the XII and XIIIa - I like the idea of a sword that can cut well and still poke holes. Hand and a Half swords and short swords are something that really appeal to me.
