Which is your high standards knife in your collection against which you compare all the rest in terms of performance, quality and aesthetic value?

Mine is a Walter Brend model 2 with 8.5 inch blade, black micarta handle and leather sheath by Byrd.

Brend knife and Byrd leather, it doesnt get much better than that!

Tim Galyean once told me he purchased a Walter Brend Model 2 to see what perfect fit and finish looked like.

For fit and finish , out of the knives that I own.... my CRK group. For sharpness standards....I have a few Dozier knives that are off the charts sharp.
