Yesterday we got over 5" of rain in a three hour period. I got 1' of water in my cellar shop, did lose anything, but it was raw sewage now it smell like a cesspool. My neighbor lost everything in his cellar the water was up to the windows. It was like a river running down my street. Here are a few pics.

:eek: HOLY CRAP,BUBBA!!!! :eek: That sucks! Glad ya did'nt lose everything in the basement.Throwing away years worth of collected 'stuff' sucks. Did that when I had the garage fire!! At least the smell will go away!
 
That's not raw sewage, It is the HT Relish tub overflowing.

Kind of brings to mind the old saying about trying to shovel shit against the tide....I hope to see you in sunny Arizona one of these days.

It may not be until next year. House prices (selling) suck and my son is moving to Tucson. His company is setting up another office there.:D
I am still letting the cellar dry out and the blind eels (turds) dry too. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!
