I know there would not be a mass market for them but how about a small run maybe once every year or 2 of a G10 Native.Start with black and then change the color on each additional run.
I think there would be enough of a market for them.
Two blue G10 natives just went on ebay for over 150.00 each.

I am thinking that the price range of a Military would be a decent price point.

Jeff,
I too would love to see the G10 natives return, but IIRC the BFC ones were $100 when new a few years back. With manufacturing costs I'd expect to see it more in the Lil' Temp price range instead of the Mili. Plus if we are the few that want to see this then I'd expect the demand to be small. I started to check out costs for a 'sprint' run because I was interested in creating one for eagle scouts. But I only wanted small quantity(50 or so). It just is not feasable (read cost effective) for Spyderco to do 'custom' quantities. So I think that if the color per year were to happen @1200 per year that after 3 years there would be 3600 of these to sell. Just think that the Blue BFC native that sold for $150 on e-bay was one of 700 (300 with engraving) after how many years?
BTW, for my wants I've been working to get some of the Blue Native III's engraved. This is a comprimise, I get smaller quantities with a fairly unique model that has a limited run.
On the other hand I'd like to see silver G-10 :)
My 2Cents US.

Just a thought on the BFC Blue Natives; they went begging at the end, as there was not enough of a market for them, IIRC.

Well... what about Native as a titanium framelock?! I really consider to order one such knife some day... custom made of course as I really doubt Sal would ever build it.

I'd be in on a G10 native. I don't think a better EDC could ever be built. Wouldn't pay much more than $100 though...

Perhaps my Black Hawk, the only G10 Spyderco I own, and possibly one of the batch recently assembled out of "spare parts", is a singularly poorly finished example of a this material. Perhaps most do not have the rough, uneven edges this knife suffers from. But even taking that possibility into account, I can't see anything that elevates this material above FRN. To me it does not seem to be any lighter, the Black Hawk feels heavier than my FRN Natives despite appearing to have less steel in the blade. To my eyes it does not look any less like "plastic". From what I've read on the forums, clip screw retention in unlined G10 is nothing to write home about. Despite all that, I'd almost certainly buy a G10 Native, if only to be able to make a more exact comparison with the FRN ones, but I'd really prefer one in micarta. :D

I bet you all could guess who go another pair of them if I told you I'm still more of a NaTiVe nut then anyone else here! Now I got two for EDC usage. Next on the 'hit list' another set of the inlays for EDC. O, by the way, I'm all for a Native with a titanium handle, carbon fiber handle, micarta handle, you make it I'll buy it! As long as its a Spyderco and a Native. Anyhow, I do believe these lil guys ended up on the lil high side, but I'll probably auction off the neck sheaths to cut back the price I paid a bit. The sheaths I got fit the G10 and older FRN style natives so if any one is interested in one or both let me know and we can work something out. I'm still waiting for Sal to make my 'kudzu' variant Native in dark green G10 handles, titanium hardware, and a GIN-1 blade....o yeah, and have it engraved with crawlin' kudzu vines on the handle and blade (keeps his fingers crossed for xmas and his wallet ready). ;) I can be reached at ekerne@msn.com too about the sheaths!
