hey everyone, I have a kershaw leek which i absolutely love, and yesterday i picked up a kershaw blackout. although a great knife, it doesnt feel very comfortable for edc. I was hoping to get another leek, in the highest quality steel blade. any help would be very much appreciated!! i think the one I have now is 1660CKT thats what it says on the blade, are there any upgrades from that, in this same knife? thanks so much!!!!!!

or also, anything similar to size and maybe styling as the leek, (assisted opening) with very high quality, hard, steel. thank you so much!

Damascus/S30V/Composite Leeks are your best Leek bet. The s30 is a liner lock but the other two are framlocks. The Kershaw groove is also worth looking into. It is not assisted opening, but a flipper instead. Mine are just as fast to open.

There is a Titanium frame one with ZDP-189 blade, good luck finding one for a reasonable price.

I would've suggested that one but I think he's asking about what's currently available.

I would probably go with either the composite blade or s30v. I guess your handle and lock preference would play a large role in your decision. Composite is frame lock and s30v is g10 with liner lock, as already stated above.

Absolute highest quality is the Titanium/ZDP-189 1660TIZDP as a few people mentioned (4th row, 5th from the bottom) but it is very rare and very expensive. I also agree for the other two choices (composite 1660CB - 3rd row at the top, or the G10/S30V 1660G10- 3 above the titanium) are the best bets that are currently made. If you like a tanto blade, the 1660TGRYST (last row, 4th from the bottom) also has S30V steel with a gray DLC coating.
