The forum has seemed kindof stale lately, nothing to incredibly exciting happening..So i thought it would be a good time to reflect on some of the most awesome times we all has out in the bush with our ESEE's. Post some pics, old or not, already posted long ago or not. lets hear the stories and see some pictures?

This is one of the best shelters i have ever made. A fallen tree was the basis in which construction started, i added some framework, a layer of spruce boughs, leaves and then a thick layer of moss. It was warm! It had a nice little open area where you could sit and work on things or just hang out and then you could just crawl inside for a good nights sleep. I could stretch out in this shelter and have room to spare, it was perfect.

and last but not least, some bannock in tinfoil cooking away ( turned out perfect) and some pine needles and labrador tea steeping for a nice hot brew.
the end to a great day.

well thats all i got for now..any takers? Lets get this forum booming again..

The shelter doesnt look that big from the outside, but you even fitted a tiled kitchen in there!

Serioulsy though;
Dude, that are some awesome spots. Wish i had something like that in the area. Nice shelter you made.

This was a special time in the woods. Nothing that makes it all that memorable but just special time with the Beaver.
