I just handled one today at a local shop and liked it very much. It's pretty light and opens very smooth. I think it'd make a fine gentleman's type knife. It seemed like it would be a above average cutter, but the blade wasn't too thin. I didn't give the blade a wiggle to check for play, but wish I would have. The liner-lock seemed reasonable though, especially for this type of knife. The one thing I didn't care for personally is the opening device. I'm not even sure of what that type is called but surely it has a name. -I've seen it on a Case designed knife before too. -I'd perfer a nail-nick myself, but this type does allow for one-handing. The gentleman at the knife store wasn't sure if it was laminated steel or pure vg-10. I couldn't see any lamination line, so my guess is pure vg-10, but I've also seen them advertised as laminated. Perhaps there are both types out there..? I'd recommend trying one. The pocket sheath is a nice touch, but the knife may be able to open in a pocket if not sheathed due to the opening type and easy of opening. I also don't think there was access to the pivot screw, but don't quote me on that one.
