Both of us liked the Okuden Sharp Thing 2 the best overall--Followed Close by the Fehrman.

Weather was PERFECT

Hope you liked the photos

Awesome photos Bill! I've seen a lot of Fehrman knives in threads in different places lately, I like that design.

What is that type cactus is that in the 4th pic down? Are the ones on the left of the pic bearing fruit? Edible?

Cool, thanks

Wild foods are an area of interest for me, and so is that environment where you live.

If you get a chance to take some closer shots that would be awesome.

bill we call those garden spiders around here . will bite but not much pain, the problem in thick brush like san gabriel river is running into them face high. what lake is that? notice it's a power producing facility due to transmission lines..

Great stuff buddy, I've always liked the look of those Okuden Sharp Thing knives ever since I saw an article about them in Tactical Knives magazine !

Man, I know there has to be a slew of 4lb. & 5lb. largemouth in there . . . oops, sorry, knife forum, lost my head there for a moment, other "addiction" kicked in. Great pics, Dr. Bill, good looking knives too. Is the Maxpedition bag the Thermite? If so, how do you like it? I have the Mongo S-Type, but want to get something a little smaller. Thanks again for the pics, all of you guys really make it rough on us Buckeyes :).

It's a Maxpedition Jumbo

Perfect size for what I use it for
