Hike in Devil's Hopyard (CT) PIC HEAVY

The wife and I took the kids for a perfect fall hike in Devil's Hopyard this morning. The weather was overcast but felt crisp and was great hiking weather. Every time we go out I teach the kids something new, today was how to orient the map to the compass. I was happy with how quick they understood it. We saw a lot of neat things and met some nice folks along the way. I had my ESEE 6 & Vic SAK, the kids each had their Moras & the wife manned her camera. All in all a great hike!!!!
