Very nice. Looks like a great day in the woods. And no better way to spend it than with such good company

You have a very nice family Phil.
Did they help you carry all that steel?:thumbup:

You have a great looking family Phil!

Thanks for the great pics, and I know you and family had to have a Great time:thumbup:

Are those D. Coster's?

Hey Jeep...great pics, brother. Your kids like they are twins; is that so? I can't wait to get out this summer and explore a bit. Only Everglades in the world, and I've NOT spent any time there. Hopefully the Wife will come with me. We shall see...

Thanks for the compliments all. It really was a great outing. My kids were so excited that they had to carry a back pack like Daddy. They were initially stuffing them full of books, favorite toys etc... They had packs weighing more than mine before we had them "scale back a bit". :)

Yeah, the Nessmuk is Dan Koster's work, the Ulu Axe is G.L. Drew's work. Both sell here on the Knife Maker's For Sale forum. Great stuff!

looks like fun. the more i see those sar5s the more i seem to want one. it's just a very little bit at a time, but i've progressed to the point where i'm actually thinking about trying to get one. maybe i'll wait for the sar4 though

Hey bro,

Nice pics, looks like fun. It's already bumping close to 100 degrees here, so we're stuck inside until fall.LOL

That boy looks just like you

fine lookin' family you got there bro! you are a lucky man.
nice beginner hike, great pics, thanks.

Looking good and having fun!

Man

we get to do it again in less than a week!

woo hooo

Great pics! Looks like real fun!
I absolutely LOVED going to the woods when I was a child. The forest was the most mysterious place for me. To tell the truth it stayd that way untill now. I just wish the forested areas in Poland were larger and not so swarmed with people (especially in autumn - in Poland mashrooming is very popular and in the mashroom season it's not easy to find peopleless place in woods).

I'll second my Hog Brother's comment, here.

You are a lucky young man, Phil. And it looks to me like 'you're doing it right.'

That is a nice edged combo set up. A busse, koster, and can't remember the name of the ulu/ax maker off the top of my head, but like them none the less.

G.L. Drew makes that Ulu Axe. It is a sweet little package too.
