i intended to field test my SFNO since i put a new wrap on it, but there were a lot of people on this trail, so i didn't get to do any chopping

One question: Why aren't you using that SFNO to fillet some fish? Forget your rod, man?

Thanks for sharing. Someday I'll live out there! Illinois stinks! I have a sis in McMinneville, OR that wants me to pack it up and move there. Been thinking about it for a few years now.

the fish were rather small and few. that one in the pic was actually pretty tiny

Really enjoyed your photos. I'm from the Rockies and it took me back home for a while. The place for the highest and best use of a Busse blade.
 
My cousin and I went hunting up there a couple years ago. It was beautiful. I have a pic next to that same sign. See any bucks or bears? We're thinking about going up there again.
 
Is that lake Serene? Probably not but those alpine lakes can look a lot alike. Looks like a great outing! :thumbup:
 
I've been up to Idaho steelhead fishing. Those pics don't do it justice. Good lord, it's beautiful :).
