Kevin, I figure a hiker mostly needs to cut cheese, fruit, summer sausage and light sticks, but would like to have the confidence that their knife can handle bushcraft chores short of batoning in a pinch. I like to call the scaled-up version the 'Through Hiker', but have only made one of those for funsies.
