Both Carol and I liked the Horton the best when it came to whittling(Convex edge)
It was a close race between the Scrap Yard Yardkeeper and Okuden Sharp Thing for top honors in comfort and control.

The Chopper was made by Ivan Campos--and it's a beast(LIKE .32" thick)
Justin of Ranger Knives put the Black G-10 grips on it.

The Orange handled one is Carol's Gossman PSK--she loves it(as do I)

The Maxpedition Mongo-----feels like small suitcase compared to the Jumbo I also have.
Not sure if I'll keep them both. The one thing I like about the Mongo is the fact I can load up a chopper.
The Jumbo has a hard time carrying a chopper without the Handle sticking out.

Thats cool you still have that Horton. That was fun knife to use. Great pics as usual.

Great pics as usual buddy, how are ya finding that Maxpedition Mongo ? I had not heard of that one !

Ps Give Zeus a pat for me !;)

I got a Jumbo last month used here on the forums

Jumbo is first--with Mongo right below

Water bottle is the same size--so you can see the difference in the size of the pack

The Mongo (IMHO) would be too large to carry around town...
The Jumbo would be cool to have at Disney World, simple day hike, etc.

The Mongo can carry a lot more items or longer items than the Jumbo--but it feels like a suitcase on your hip.

Nice to see the three of you out and enjoying yourselves. The Mongo does look like a suitcase on your hip. I like that chopper, I bet it does the job being that thick.

Some great pics
looks like you guys were having a great time.
thanks for the post

Very nice, great pics. I really like that BEDC. Of course I might be a little biased, but I'm partial to the Horton Knives as well.:D;)

Great pics man, nice steel! I think Zeus is about big enough to take you for a walk now...he's come a long way from that little puppy! As always Carol makes the knives look even better. Who makes that wooden handled one with the hollow/convex combo edge?
