:D My Wife and I spent two days Hiking and doing a Zip Line and canopy bridge course. This was a blast 200 feet over a river...extreme and my wife did it with me...she's a tough lady. It took close to five hours and it was 83 degrees. We have some great outdoor things to do in Georgia! This set of pic's are of the Zip Line course and a couple of pics of my wife Zipping! The second set of Pics are of the hiking.

Love that place, and had a ball there last November.
Where did you hike? I was pressed for time, but we may spend the night there in May.

btw, here's that tower without the zoom, and that line goes further back to the rear left of where the pic is taken from.
..and one of the staff leaving said tower.

They have a long hiking trail that goes along the creek and crosses it on a new bridge... the trail splits off and goes along the creek or it takes you to the old mill and crosses the creek again and the trail continues, very beautiful trail!

Im getting dizzy just lookin at those pictures!
I would consider it a success if I made
it half way up that tower.
More power to you guys!
Thanks for the great pics (and the scare)

Since you said you hiked two days... I am assuming you camped somewhere right?
Show us pics of your equipment please???

thanks..

Zips are a blast.
Out of curiosity, how much do they charge for that up there ?
It runs about $50 down here.
I know those guys have armies of ambulance chasers stalking in the woods so the insurance must be astronomical.

I'm 50 years old and in decent shape, but it was hot and I was nursing my sore knee from the week end before. I had to stop before the last part(screaming eagle tower) to give my knee a break, my wife went on to finish.
