Just got this beauty and haven't had a chance to give it a work out yet, but, it looked like it was dying for a snack!

Wow! Those look great! Thanks for posting them.

Man that black and white is nice! I can't help but wonder how it handles cross-grain oreo batoning.

They didn't stand a chance. :)

I am really more a fan of the shorter bolsters but when I saw this one on the exchange, I had to have it. The knife is just scary sharp. I was surprised at how thick the blade was. A very stout blade for sure. Need to get a lefty sheath for it so I can carry it. Dropped a line the Heber to see what he can do. Not counting my Fiddleback machete, this is my first official Fiddleback. Thanks Andy for making a superior blade. Tonight's project...batoning through a box of swiss cake rolls. j/k

Can you send me some full size shots?

Not specifically. Just pretty shots for my wallpaper.

I hear ya on that one. :D

Yeah, I'm loving that saber grind! Don't get me wrong, I'm still loving my Hiking Buddy fine as it is, but the saber grinds are so sexy and just plain pointer...which is great for boring small holes for improvised water filters, digging out splinters, cleaning debris from wounds, and finer woodworking. Though I'll be wanting a stainless Karda with a saber grind first, I can plans for that bad boy :)

I hear ya mist. I love the blade on that knife. Just the slightest bit of rough at the top and pure silver magic all the way down. I have a couple of blades with spalting cover 30% or more of the blade and I have found it a bitch to keep clean and keeping it from corroding in the low spots. They looks nice but not too practical for my use. Yours a pretty sweet looking too but you know I tend to like all your knives. Hows the old Bushfinger doing?
