I have a new Hiking Buddy that I absolutely love the looks and feel of!! Admittedly I haven't used it yet. I have wanted one of Andy's Nessmuks for quite awhile but I don't have the funds. I am considering ... again only considering :D .... offering my prized H.B. for trade for a (similar condition) Nessmuk. I really don't want to part with the H.B. and I will be very picky :D but I just might for the right Nessmuk. Just throwing this out to see what happens.

Mine is the Lacewood/orange liners.

awesome knife....you should keep it & wait til Andy makes more Nessie's......I have quickly become a fan of that blade design....
 
I sent 4 Nessies to Arizona Custom Knives last week. Osage handles. Scandi. Nice pieces.

I was very tempted to keep that Lacewood HB. Lacewood is really pretty stuff.
 
Andy this H.B. is a stunner. Maybe the nicest handle of any of my many customs. I'm just not sure if that's enough reason to keep it. My knives are users. Trust me I'm in turmoil over this. The funds just aren't available for a new Muk but a Fiddleback Nessmuk has been on my radar for a few years now. Ugh .....

The orange liners/ lacewood combo absolutely rocks!!

Just giving everyone a heads up. Unfortunately I need some funds. REGRETTFULLY I will be putting this Hiking Buddy up for sale in the next day or two on the "Exchange" forum. $230.00 with sheath - shipped. (Exactly what I paid from this forum - unused) I want to give you guys the first notice before it hits the Exchange. I'm hoping this knife goes to a fellow Fiddleback lover. This blade is just too special. If somebody wants it before it goes to the exchange then please reply here. First reply to take it has the choice to purchase.

Just for confirmation - Mine is the darker of the two baldes. I will be putting additional photos up when it goes for sale but the photos in this thread pretty much cover it. It's absolutely amazing ....
