Hiking in the Boulder City, Nevada area

A few weeks ago while in town for the SHOT Show I did a little hiking in Nevada. These were three separate hikes done over the course of three days.

I never will grow tired of the natural contrast the desert has to offer!

Boyscout Canyon

Sadly a few days after I was there a hiker died from a fall.

Colorado River Canoe Trip

Took the canoe on the Colorado River for some hiking and exploring.

Behind the trees is a secret passage to some amazing slot canyons

And then this…

Am I doing this right?

Found some washed up TP and used it as tinder

Goldstrike (hot springs) to the Colorado River

Hot Springs that end at the Colorado River

Many parts of the hike could only be done with a rope!

Rueben, that looks like it was and would be a awesome hike and adventure. with the caneo I looked to me like you were doing it right lol lol.

The pics of the Owl and the spider was really cool. I love the pics of the animals that you and others post.

Say, Rueben, I hope you answer this can you get a pack like yours in tan or green? and if so where do you get them?
