Spent a very pleasant day hiking in the Lake District yesterday.

Came across a mountain biker who had come off his bike. He had patched his wounds, but had no pain killers. Used Vic Huntsman scissors to cut him a strip of Ibuprofen.

In the evening, dropped by the Watermill in Ings for dinner. Best pub in the Lakes. With no street lighting, used my Zebralight H51 to light the way from the car. First time I have used the light, quite impressed with it.

Those are some beautiful shots! I love the one with the boat and rippling waves behind it. Great landscapes as well.

Weird considering I've been up there a few times that it wasn't 'till very recently I discovered that is the only actual lake there. Blame Steven Fry for pedantry. Some lovely shots with ye olde weather creeping in and all.

Some awesome photos Millhouse, more than one are stunners. Glad to see you over this way, thanks for sharing the photos!

I love pics of streams. Always soothing to see and hear them trickling.

Thanks for the pics.

Let hear it for hiking (and watercoloring) in the Lake District
