Both are some carving fools

I can NOT decide which one I like better.

The Koyoye is larger and the handle gives it more leverage for power cuts.It is EXACTLY as it is described in this web page----

The KFU was a TOTAL surprise as I did not expect to LOVE this puppy.

More to follow

What did your patient say when you told him you wanted to go out to his land and chop up a bunch of random scrub brush? :)

After another hour or so I did some hiking and met up with TED who asked me to help him move a Steer

I tell them I want to chop the trees they do not want---and most of them are ALL TO WILLING to let you chop the hell out of the trees they do not like.

It's a Win-Win for both of us.

Another good one Doc. I like the wood on that KFU . Looks like Zeus had fun riding on the flatbed truck.

Thanks for posting.

That was his first tiime and he did quite well

Carol has claimed the KFU as her knife as the handle is so pretty(her words)

I'm just glad she likes knives at all

Awesome setting for hanging out. Zeus is a really good dog! Most would be trying to get through the fence! I can almost hear the bull saying "whats up?" to Zeus :)

Zeus is my fifth German Shepherd

He knows over 40 commands now

Several members on the forum have met him

He had never seen a Steer that close(nor any of the other animals either)

He was more curious than anything-

Wow, thanks for posting the pics. That was one of the first few knives I made. Im sure its not real pretty to look at but I wanted to have good ergonomics and cutting ability from the start. Im glad it landed in good hands my friend.

My wife took it because it looks GOOD

I'm keeping it because it cuts GREAT!!!!!

Enjoyed the pix,and the narrative!

I'm the proud owner of two KFU knives; an EDC & a Wharnie....both are incredible little workhorses.

I was lucky enough to get mine made in Red Mallee Burl, which turned 'em into almost-too-daym-pretty-to-use.

(If you're thinking about getting a custom KFU for your Lady, that wood turns Chris's antiqued metalwork into artwork!)

Great looking blades, and it appears that they are darn functional as well. :)

We have nothing around here that looks like that landscape. What a refreshing change from swamps and pine trees.

Your pics kind of makes me homesick.Looks a lot different than where I am now. I grew up about an hour east of you in Breckenridge and used to hunt some around Buffalo Gap years ago. I still have family there and get back a couple times a year.Does your friend have problems with feral pigs?--KV
