Hiking-Knife testing with my son,4 July 09

TOOK MY 13 YEAR OLD SON "BLADE" OUT HIKING AND KNIFE TESTING(I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM IN ALMOST A YEAR)

I HAVE HIM FOR 4 WEEKS--FELT WE NEEDED A LITTLE ALONE TIME TO BOND.

TOOK THE FOLLOWING KNIVES

HE OWNS THE SIEGLE WITH THE GREEN G-10 HANDLES,THE FALLKNIVEN S1 AND THE 2 BUCKS(AXE AND FOLDER)

I OWN THE OTHER SIEGLE(BIGGER ONE)-AND THE EMERSON MACH-1

THE WIFE OWNS THAT GOSSMAN

Great pics! You seem to have a great chopper collection... How many Siegle's do you have at this point?
 
great stuff Bill...:thumbup: it doesn't get much better than a father and son spending some quality time together, playing with knives....:D

9 Siegles as of today(have owned 30 perhaps--although not at one time)

great pics. grew up in 50s in abilene when rare gulley washers happened; we floated elm creek on inner tubes .in those days we could afford 99 cents imperials.its great to be able to plunck down 150 or 250 for a blade now.

Good pics Bro!!! To blooming hot for my anymore down there. Seeing those Cedar trees sure brings back memories though, great Siegles there by the way.

good stuff bill!! Looks like a great time. I really want a Falkniven, and a mini tusker. 2 very cool blades. Those Siegles rock.
