I took a day's vacation on Friday to hike this state park. WOW - I was amazed by it's beauty. I wish I had visited it sooner, but I will be back soon. I was glad that I took my hiking poles with me! They were very helpful. They took a lot of stress off of these old knees! Here are some pictures. This was one beautiful place. 21 Waterfalls - They were so amazing, I hiked the trail twice.

Gorgeous area. I tried to make a weekend trip out of the area with a friend, but we couldn't get campsites at the last minute. So instead, we drove out to world's end state park which is not too far off. I enjoyed that very much and hope to actually get over to Rickett's sometime soon.

Very cool pics, thanks for sharing!

p.s. You don't look 'that' old...

I love it there! Every time I go visit family near there I always plan a day hike there. Awesome pics!

We have a place up in Dushore near Worlds End. The wife and I took a hike about 2 weeks ago at Ricketts Glen...Beautiful place...especially this time of year.

I have camped and hiked up there. For PA the falls are nice, and its a pretty hike. We don't have that many falls here in PA.

Great shots BTW.

Great place, isn't it! This area is only about 30 min away from me so I have been hiking it for years. The only annoying thing, is that it has become so popular that on nice days, the trail is loaded with people. The one thing I like about hiking is the solitude and that is missing up there. It's also annoying to see how much garbage is ending up along the trails now that the place is so popular. I mean really, is it so hard to carry that 0.5 oz wrapper or 3 oz plastic bottle back out with you? OK, I digress, your pics are great, thanks for sharing!!

Wow with the number of us who seem to visit there, we could almost have BF meetup near there.

This is the only time of year that makes me homesick (OK now till Christmas). The leaves don't change here in Brazil and we're headed into summer rainy season it couldn't be more un-fall-like.

It is funny how the leaves there seem to be two weeks farther along above the mountains than below and in the Spring it's the exact opposite. One of my long time goals is to spend a full week in the woods in PA at the peak of Fall. For me that is hard to swing because when I'm in the US I'm traveling constantly with speaking engagements.

It's good to see you're out enjoying it. March in PA is for sitting home doing nothing. Mac

I love hiking were I'll come across waterfalls. Those were some beautiful pics. Thanks for sharing.
I googled it to see how far from me that is, a little over 500 miles darn it. I just got back from a 700 mile trip to Nebraska. Maybe someday I'll make the trip over there. Beautiful country.

There's nothing like hanging out beside a waterfall. Nice photos.

Thanks for sharing the awesome photos. That is a beautiful part of the state.

I live right there and very rarely hike it. A waste, I know. Hunt a lot around the area.
