This summer im going to thru-hike the 270 mile long trail from the vt/ma border to canada. Has anyone done this hike? I am looking for someone who has done it in order to plan out my mail drops and such. Any other insights into tips on the hike would be great. I dont mean the basic "pack light and well, not heavy and lavish" comments, im fine when it comes to technical hiking skills...but trip-specific tips such as "coming down Killington, take the blue blaze side trial, the descent is a bit longer but less rocky" hehe. I understand maybe no one here has ever done it, only bout 70 do it a year, but i figured it cant hurt to ask!
thanks!
