Some photos of a hike with my buddy Tony.

First we checked out some old Iron Ore Mines.

There where tunnels,

…and shafts.

More to follow.

Farther along Tony did a little free climbing.

Skull and Bones.

The Brain Andrews “Tony’s Special” feeling warm and fuzzy.

Really nice pics. Looks like a great time was had by both of you. Love the greenness of everything, too.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing.

That looks like my kind of hike. I love clambering over rocks, through caves, etc. Nice dogs, too!

I'm happy to see that those tunnels and shafts aren't carpeted with garbage. That's usually the case in the caves where I like to hike, but the other week I found a beautiful crevice with a bunch of broken bottles at the bottom and some spray painting on the wall. Ugh.

All the best,

- Mike

Looks kinda similar to somewhere near Derbyshire I was lured to. I don't spook easily but he's a keen potholer and I draw the line a going through tight sumps so I have to get his head up. Just plain caving with them was fun though. I like the way they take dig at climbers “We make sure we don't bloody fall off in the first place”...said from deep inside some pitch black and wet granite colon.

Looks like a great area to hike and explore ... it's just way way too many pictures of tony :barf:  ;) :D

Mike, great pics buddy!

That was 1 of my favorite hikes, if not my favorite so far. Thanks a bunch for showing me that gem of a spot bro!

I'm surprised that shirt hasn't disintegrated off of Tony's back by now...seems like he loves that shirt, with how often I see him in it!

Looks like a really cool area to explore, thanks for sharing the pics!

Tony,

You didn't learn your climbing from Man v. Wild, did you? ;):D

Seriously - that's a cool opportunity and it looks like a great outing.
