Got my WWII less than 30 minutes ago and I'm in love. I gotta give many thanks to Yangdu and Vim Kami for this beautiful peice of art. Definately a very solid knife and is much bulkier than I thought it would be (which is a good thing). Seriously, I feel I could cut Superman in half with this thing. The knife itself measures a hair over 18" overall from pommel to tip of the blade (which is a nice suprise since it was listed as being 17.5" overall). I am so impressed with this knife I haven't even had a chance to check out the two accessory knives yet. My only minor complaint is the metal tip at the end of the sheath came off, any suggestions on how to re-attach it? Anyways, I think it's safe to say, the HIKV has claimed another victim. I'll definately be getting another HI khukri in the near future. It's just a matter of which one.

I would post pics, but my camera seems to wanna be difficult today.

Leave it off, or use contact cement. Darn things dig into your thigh.

Congratulations.

Congratulations on your new arrival. Perhaps a gentle tap with your new khukuri might encourage your camera into working. (When all else fails, read the instructions or get a bigger hammer.)

Looking forward to your pics and post-workout opinions.

Congrats and welcome to the sickness! Can't wait to see pics. Was it one of the villager finishes with the neem wood handle that have been on the DOTD's lately?

It's one of the recent villagers but mine has a satisal handle.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I had a sarki cap on one of mine come loose. I scraped all the old glue off and epoxied it back on. No problems since.
