HIKV on the Rampage

Warning! The HIKV has reached epidemic proportions in the Western Washington area.

I am up to 8 and have 2 more coming next week.

All vaccines have been rendered useless!

OK I just have to ask.What is HIKV? I've tried to search old archives for a direct answer but found none.But judgeing from your statments it seems to be Himalayan Imports Khukri Virus.Am I right?

I'm afraid to ask what you have coming,might they be from a certain trade? just when I'd gotten to where my girlfriend thought I was sane(3 khukuri's with one on order) I went and found 2 more I just couldn't pass up! and I still need that AK! We all new you had a terminal case when you bought that kothimoda! take care! Brent

I've got a couple nice ones made by Bura coming from Uncle Bill. I thought I'd get some 15 inchers since I've got quite a few 20's...a BAS and a Sirupati.

I can't decide who I like best, Bura or Sanu, but anything they do is magic....and the Kothimoda still amazes me.I don't know how anyone could make a finer Khukuri.

Bura does generally consistently fine work but he does not push the envelope like Sanu. Sanu takes chances and sometimes they backfire -- but I like to see Sanu stretching his capability because when it works you end up with something like the YCS.

They all do good stuff. I've had requests for khukuris to be made by every kami in the shop. Each has his own style and methods and his following but by far Bura and Sanu are the favorites -- and for good reason.

At least he recognizes that NDNS Never Forget!!!!

And Jim, HIKV is so much more fun when you accept it and roll with flow. At least when you admit you have HIKV you don't have to give so many away to prove you don't have it.

And I feel your pain and also recognize that by giving so many away you will have at least one to fondle and kiss when you go visting.
Or you can do like most of us and carry one or two in your vehicles so one can stop along side the road when traveling so you can stop and have a khukuri fix where ever you may be.
