Here's what I've scored so far.
1. 8/25 15" 25 oz. Ganga Ram/Bonecutter, satisal handle by Murali Kami.
2. 8/26 11.5" 13 oz. Ang Khola, horn by young Sher Kami.
3. 8/26 16.75" 31 oz. Villager Farm Knife, horn by Tirtha Kami.
Not yet received.
4. 8/30 18" 24 oz. Sirupati, satisal by Santosh Kami.
5. 8/30 15" 20 oz. Ganjawal with six tools, satisal by Dharan Kami.
6. 8/31 18" 23 oz. Malla, horn by Santosh Kami.
7. 8/31 11" 13 oz. Chiruwa Ang Khola, satisal by Murali Kami.

Is there hope for me or am I too far gone. Should auntie be arrested for supplying dangerous addictive materials.

PS. killa_concepts; I haven't used the VFK yet but really like the way it feels. My brother said it was his favorite of the three I've gotten so far. Tirtha did a great job on it.

Thanks mate! KIHV is a scary thing... especially when you have other expensive hobbies to keep up with. You've definitely gotten a nice haul considering the short time you've been here. Nearly as big a collection as mine and I've been part of the HI community for over a year!

That said, glad you and your brother like the VFK design! I bet you'll like it even more once you start using it. I've used it a tad and can definitely attest to it's usefulness. Thus far, I've hacked up a couple 2x4s, used it for cooking, and trimmed up a bush. More on all of that later as I'll be doing a review once I find the time and re-do some of the tasks for the sake of taking pictures

HeHeHe:D:D
You are a fast young shark aren't you:p
Nice score for such a short time.
...and nice to watch the HIKV doing it's thing...

It wasn't me...the Khuk made me do it!

Your "tragic" story has unfolded many times before. I had a similar experience after sampling my first khuk. I went on a khuk buying binge that lasted several months. It wasn't until I'd amassed a pile of empty long priority mail boxes that I began to sober up. Now I mostly watch the sharks swarm for the daily specials as I remind myself that I have most of the blades being offered and don't need another!

Wow, I heard California was dangerous!!! But I think you have it covered!

Everyone will be getting some strange Christmas gifts this year! Save those triangle boxes...

Just looking at the viewing figures on the manufactures page and HI had 34 next closest was 21, a lot of sufferers of HIKV or is it feeding time lol

I think we have another Nasty in the making. Both he and Jai of Spam both expanded their collections to epic levels over a short period!

I saw I had messages earlier and I took a quick look but thought I would answer them later. Now I can't find them; I guess I didn't save them properly.

The Sirupati and Ganjawal arrived today. They sure ship quickly. The Khuks look great.

I haven't had the opportunity to give any of them a good challenge yet. Yesterday I received an item from Amazon in a box approx. 18" x 24" x 24". Since I didn't want to demolish my furniture I decided to use the box so I could at least get a feel for how to grip and swing the first five knives on my list. As I was just familiarizing myself with the knives I just made a firm chop into an edge of the box with the sweet spot using very little effort. In this totally unscientific test no objective data was obtained of the comparative chopping power of the khuks as I'm fairly sure I snapped my wrist with the 11.5" AK while I just guided the path while gravity did most of the work with the 15" GR/B. I was a little leery of any hard strike with the GR/B against the defenseless box. On average each of the Khuks sank approx. 1.5" - 2" into the box.
Then came the Villager Farm Knife; again using little effort the narrow angle blade slashed 9" into the box. Very impressive.

you're going to have fun breaking them in once you get over the fear of using them instead of holding them lovingly (which admittedly took me some time, too).
