Here's another possum poker, just got the sheath finished up last night.
OAL 14 1/4" - 9 3/8" blade, sharp 7" top clip. The damascus is one of a kind, 8 pieces of mosaic cut offs welded up and drawn out, and the guard, spacer, butt cap and escutcheon are all matching. Sheath is dyed snake inlayed.

These darn possums don't have a chance. ;) ;)

Knife ans sheath both look great Bill. Yours will be a very impressive table at Litte Rock.

Wow! Fantastic knife & sheath! Beautiful handle & fittings, nice damascus.

Kind regards,

Jos

Beautiful work throughout Bill!

I am sure a 'possum would be honored to be poked by such a wonderful piece. :)

Wow, very nice!

Bill, your knives are among the best I have had the pleasure of handling.

I don't know if you remember me, we talked at length at the last Spirit of Steel show, in Grapevine, Tx.

Good to see more of your knives.

that knife has some nice flow. The escutcheon looks like the blade somehow ended up there. I am a great fan of s guards, and especially piratey looking ones. Great looking knife:thumbup:
I wish it were a bit stabbier though, you know, for those possums.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, I truly appreciate it.
Wife and I are really looking forward to the Ark. show this weekend, it will be nice to meet so many that hang around these forums.

Lorien-- its pretty stabby now, done stabbed my finger just trying to get a picture taken, so its drawn blood a couple times already. ;)

Thank you,

Bill

Let me guess- you were playing shadow puppets with the youngins, and mistakenly made a possum shadow, then...:D
You're right, I went back several times to look at er. What a beaut.

Nope, no shadow puppets or young'in, just bifocals. ;)

Really like it Bill. Your escutcheons always add to the overall.
Your knives have a distinctive style which can be picked out of a crowd and that's a good thing.
