I have a big problem. I work in a computer lab late in the evenings on weekdays and during the day's on weekends. The only sights I have been visiting is the HI links and forums. The only thing that is better than talking/reading about HI is using HI prouducts. I have read just about every forum for HI.

That is my problem... I am a HI addict. I think I may need to join a HI 12 step program. Cause I love my HI knives. The more I read; the more I want; the more I want to read...it is a viscious circle.

My collection is small, I have only been a member of Uncle's family of users for the past few weeks. I own a 20" Kobra and a 12" AK, and I am throughly impressed by both. I am planning on building a model for a Naginata once finals are over here, and I am already saving for a kuk that is heavier. I haven't made up my mind yet. Maybe a 20" AK or a 22" GRS or evev a 25" Kobra or Sirupati...wait a minute... Uncle makes 30" Sriupati's. Maybe I should save for a HI Katana. I could have both a HI Katana and a Naginata. Too many decisions.

Nepal Ho!

Ps. By the way, I am not a compulsive buyer. Just really bored and amaized by the quality of blade I get from HI. Also, Uncle (if you are reading this)In all seriousness, how much will a 30" Sirupati set me back?

Uncle Bill - Nepal News says power is up and they anticipate rationing will be called off soon, as water levels are rising from late glacier melt. Hope this is true and not a gov't. "feel good" release.
Dave:
There is no 12-step cure for HIKV. I got my 3rd last week, and realized (from the site) that there are 200 variations from HI. Add specials and variations of the militaries, plus Bill's comment about one collector who has over 800 blades, and the picture clears. Get your sheepskin, and the best job you can find - you will have to buy lots of wall space (for hanging Khuks) and at least one or two extra rooms for when those of us with smaller walls come over to visit (not you - your Khuks)

Wal, your info regarding electricity is correct. Got email saying we are back in full production again at BirGorkha -- thanks be to the Lord.

The fellow with 800+ khukuris just bought another a week or so back and is waiting for a special order.

Jim Clifton sent an email and said he's so "damned" busy he doesn't have time to do anything except work right now. Not even enough time to buy khukuris so I know he really is busy.

Samurai,
I had a feeling there was someone in need of "MY" help! They have already started on you with FALSE teachings,"there is no HIKV"!To prove this to you ,I will be FORCED to buy another K for "RESEARCH", Being busy I will have to buy from Uncle by mail "for now", but I'm SURE Uncle will inform EVERYONE what I do!Hummm! I think you NEED to join my "JC FELLOWSHIP" for guidance, lesson #1 don't pay "ANY" attention to Koz,(he's the one with 800 K's), some have jeweled handles & rare wood handles, he , Rus, & THAT NDN will lead you to the DARK SIDE,only listen to me!I'm the ONLY honest one !

Actually, Jim, I think I have only about 40-50 khukuris at present so I am not likely the fellow with the mythological 800 khukuris...
