Couple of hard to find ones here guys:

1) 18" OAL 28 oz. full-sized Villager BGRS by Bura. Satin finished blade and excellent horn handle. Black buffalo hide scabbard with karda and chakmak. (Very unique shaped chakmak with white horn streaks.) Fearsome chopper. $95 shipped anywhere in the CONUS. SOLD

2) 18" OAL 20 oz. Gelbu Special by Sher. Horn handle, black buffalo hide scabbard with karda and chakmak. Elegant fighting blade. $95 shipped. SOLD


Both are uncarried unsharpened and exactly as received from HI last year. Polishing rouge is still present on GS handle.

Norm, I was just wondering if the fittings on the BGRS are white metal or steel?

Everybody calls them steel fittings, but as far as they know they are white metal. I already have this on in a shipping box or I would check. The last several "steel" fittings I checked on these were heavy white metal, but they are well done regardless.
