Top: Russian Kindjal (not HI, but a very large blade nonetheless!) Masterfully done 24" carbon steel blade, beautiful quadruple fullers on both sides - three narrow fullers and one wide one. 30" OAL. Wooden handles, full tang. From what I was told when I bought this, it is a modern piece (not an antique) which was used for military dress parade in one of the Soviet bloc countries. $159 shipped Price reduction $145 shipped

Below: Himalayan Imports Kukris, all hand forged zone tempered carbon steel. From Left to Right:

1) 20" 28 oz Jange by Kumar, dark chandan handle, white metal fittings. Perfect knife. SOLD

2) 20" 20 oz kobra by Bura. He doesn't do many of these! Perfect knife, $99 shipped. Price reduction $95 shippedLast chance $89 shipped

3) rare 18" 33 oz Chandra Shamsher by the royal kami Bura, chandan wood handle, white metal fittings. Handle has two cracks needing superglue fix. Dan Koster's web site has a nice tutorial on how to do this. SOLD

4) Full sized 18" Ganga Ram Special by royal kami Bura, tightly grained Saatisal wood handle, mirror polished. Perfect knife bought from stock, not a daily special. $139 shipped Price reduction $135 shipped

I'm sorry, but I'm confused by your pictures.

Is this one for sale, and how much? I'm interested.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. I have tried to list the knives in the order in which they appear in the photos, from left to right, unfortunately there is some duplication (some of the knives appear in more than one photo). If you have any other questions about which knives are in which photos, let me know and I'll do my best to clarify it.

That kukri in the photo is the Chandra Shamsher model. Will send you an email with the info as well.

The descriptions, prices and photos have been updated to eliminate confusion.

I've bought quite a few HI khukuri's from Darwin and have never been disappointed. His descriptions are completely accurate, his prices are more than fair and he's a great guy to deal with.

I love that Russian blade, but shouldn't be spending a dime right now. But, email sent on the little 8.5" 4 oz Newari special anyway.

Thanks,

Norm

I can second this- he sold me a one-of-a-kind khukuri for a fair price that I am completely happy with.
