Himalayan imports:

These have all been etched and sanded to a rough satin finish. they look okay, but are more users then lookers. I did the etching specifically to see where the hard area's were along the edge (wether just int he sweet spot, or ricasso to tip).

himalayan sword - 75$ 80$ 85$ 90$ SOLD

crescent moon kami. it's handle scales are half horn, half is wood (a rich reddish irridescent color), full tang.this has never been used to cut anything, and is roughly in the same shape as I received it from hi, other then the acid etch. the blade from gaurd to tip is 23 1/2", and the hamon starts at 10" away form the gaurd towards the tip, and continues all the way to the tip. there is no major rust as it sits here in front of me, but some spots may develope during shipping. I suggest brasso creamy formula and a rag.

the handle scales have a few amll dents in them, but I'm not sure what was there to begin with and what was caused by me... all together its in pretty good shape. comes with red leather sheath.

patang/bhutan short sword - 60$ 65$ 70$ 75$SOLD PF

This one has a nice visible hamon from ricasso to tip. wood scales on full tang handle. comes with red leather sheath. crescent moon kami. condition is the same as the himalayan sword, but with a rougher edge. it has a few very small dings in it, some area's arent level or sharp, and the tip came slightly blunted. I haven't used it on anything, and this is how the edge came to me from HI. comes with red leather cheath.

20" sirupate - 50$ SOLD PF

rising sun kami. the hamon on this one is mostly concentrated and strong near the curve side of the sweet spot. the hamon is clear up to the center of the curve on the tip side of the sweet spot. you can just barely make out the hamon at the tip, but it is very weak there. the handle on this is a touch thin near the bottom, but I like it more then the other siru handles I've had, it has an overal curvature that fits the hand, rather then dropping off in thickness trastically on the bottom side of the handle. the sheath is a little rough near the tip area, and there si a 1/4" long small tear where you can see wood on the edge side near the brass tip on the sheath. it is still solid and stable, and won't go anywhere.

18" ang khola - 50$ SOLD PF

star of david kami. the hamon on this is only in the sweet spot, but it covers the chopping area quite nicely. the tip and curve to cho do not appear to be hardened at all. this one has a nice oval handle that gives a nice solid filling grip without being to wide, tall, or thick. it has a nice iridescent satisal wood handle.

gransfors bruks scandavian forest axe - never used for anything
gerber splitting axe - never used for anything
estwing large axe - used, reground the edge to be a touch thinner. it has a minor dent in the edge that will have to be sharpened/ground out.

machete package 25$ SOLD PF

cold steel two handed heavy machete - never used for anything, but has a few dents in the edge that came from the factory like that (the coating is on the dent, no metal showing, so i'm assuming that they were coated after they were dented)
cold steel light machete - I put this on a 4/36" grinder just to knock off the sharp corner between the edge grind and the flats of the machete. it's never actually been used to chop anything though.
ontario 22" d-garud heavy machete - this has had the gaurd knocked off of it leaving only the handle portion, and has been heavily reground to be thinner. it has been used a lot, but is still a decent heavy machete. could use some more regrinding to make it thinner, and some tip work to get rid of the factory rounded tip.
organic co 12" small machete - a nice little field knife thats never been used for anything.

1 unused shanghai shadow w/ box and sheath

1 heavily modified warhard - this was modified to be a bowie pattern knife, with the corners of the two grinds (running down the center) having been ground down a little to make the overal blade thinner.

throwers package 15$ SOLD PF

rigid (2) - used, but still got a lot of life in them. could use a little edge work (apperetly these are kind of hard to come by these days)
hibben (3) - used, but not damaged. could use edge work.
unknown (6) - very messed up and heavily used. these are ultra cheap butter soft steel, and very thin. they are good for throwing with the intent of destroying them.

crkt m1 - lightly used, a little residue on the blade, but the edge is in good shape with no visible dents or dulling.
kershaw bear 2 - has had the handle modified to remove the finger bump. sheath has been modified to be easier to unclick. some glue on the blade, but the edge is still in great shape.
smith and wesson hrt boot knife/dagger - sharpened to 24 degrees per side on one edge, and I think around 35 degrees per side on the other
smith and wesson search and rescue kabar - sharpened to 24 degrees per side
ontario 6" butcher knife - unused. some light rust spotting present, wich I wiped off.
ontario lettuce knife - unused. some light rust spotting present, wich I wiped off.

Shoot... don't any of you other guys sleep!!!? 3rds on the axe package. also, I'll take the "cold steel fighters package" assuming those warheads are carbon steel. I'll take the machete package, and the kicks also.
 
The axe package went to janno, but if that falls through, I'll work through the line of requests :)

the warhead/shanghai shadow are advertised from cold steel as being 1055, so these should be carbon steel :), email me at SethMurdoc (at) hotmail.com, through bladeforums, or PM me and the cold steels/machetes/kicks are yours :)

there was a question about Himalayan Imports warrantee, generally the warrantee's are only accepted from the original owner of the blades. these are still really heavy duty, but thats the policy from HI as I understand it.

I'm working till 7:30pm tonight, so I won't be able to get these out until monday.
 
I'll take the 18" Ang Khola if it's still available. I'm at work, so my internet access is very intermittant, but I can catch up tonight.

price drops on the swords, both of wich don't come up for sale that often.

also, add a boker folder to the small knives set, one of the little rainbow combo edge ones...
