This is such a nice folder........The fit and finish are great...... It is understated elegance that really does work......It is such a shame that is made by such a nice guy.....LOL.......

Hope you enjoy the pix......

All best ......

What's the purpose of that cutout in the scales -- about the point where your ring finger would hit?

That allows you to bend that part of the frame to unlock the blade.....Hence "framelock"......A.G. Russell and Chris Reeve are more or less credited with coming up with the idea, I think.....Have to check with Gibbssy about that, I guess....LOL...

That is a damn good size knife. Do you plan on using it as a general utility knife or a woods knife or a sheeple friendly blade?

I been trying to decide if I should save up for a Hinderer... His knives are nice, just I don't know if they are WORTH the money. I know that sounds cheap which I don't mean to, but yeah.

thats a good looking knife boss, closest thing i have is a cryo 2 its a nice design.

I tend to think of this and my Mayo custom and the small herd of Reeves that lives downstairs as "sunday got to meetin'"knives.....I am just too good at losing folders to carry good ones all the time......My edc is a SAK Rucksack, and I buy several at once cause I lose 'em.......Having said that my current Ruck has stayed close for several years but, I had a long run of absentmindedness and bad luck before that.....LOL.....Maybe I will edc this one......I really like it.....

I got to see and handle this knife last week when I was out at Ethan's and all I can say is WOW! It is a beautiful knife and incrediably made. I loved the blade design and how it looked. This is one that I will have to plan to add to the collection one day.

That's a beaut right there. I've seen a few guys with custom folders have sheaths/ pouches for there folders. Might be a more natural carry then the traditional pocket clip. Nice score!!!

Very nice folder Uncle E, thanks for sharing. Rick sure make some sweet folders. I cant wait for the more affordable ZT566, hopefully it gets to the dealers end of this year.

Now I gotta hit the hardware shops to get the 9/64 hex key. Wanna try that brown scale on my 16.

Cheers!

Wow! I dig it, maybe at Blade. Of course, I'd rather have a BK&T folder. :D Honestly though, nice blades Boss.

interesting knife. would have to see it in person. don't personally like the extended tab thing there, but that's me.

still loving my Hogues though.

that reminds me, i should check with Fox if they ever came out with that folding Parang "pocket knife" :>

I was lucky enough to get a Hinderer this and also have a ZT 560. While the ZT is a really, really good knife there are some dislikes put that is a personal preference thing. There is a reason that the custom XM24 are 4 times the price. The custom is so well build you can actually see where your money is going.

Looks like a very well-built knife. Not my style at all, and I can't say I'm likely to ever own one, as all of my folder money goes to Darrel Ralph, but if I were going to branch out, I'd rather give Rick my money instead of Mick Strider. Maybe an Umnum...

I definitely like the idea of a Becker folder.

In tribute to the Hinderer, if I made a folder, I'd call it an "Awesomer" LOL

That's a really nice folder you got there Ethan. Really.
