Stonewashed version ordered, will be a nice addition to both my balisong and Hinderer collections. Hopefully fit and finish as well as action will be top notch. I'll find that out from rewievs before mine gets to Europe...

That is actually really nice. Blade length is 4.75 inch though which is abit long for me. If they ever make a mini 4 inch version I would be all over it.

Still, it’s great to see Hinderer Knives going outside their comfort zone. They really have become a fixture in the USA made high end market right alongside CRK.

He seems to be reaching deep in the files with the Firetac and balisong
(Fire Whirl). Both were derived from custom knives he made.
Looks good

4.75 is gonna be in the sweet spot for the flippers, thats probably the target audience with this based on specs

He said in a live stream earlier this week that he made changes from the prototype to the production run based on feedback from BladeHQ and some flippers they sent them out to. Seems like he really put in the effort to research what makes a good flipper.

Glad to see Rick is branching out and putting his OCD standards into it.
$410 for a good balisong might be a little steep for some but it's not that far price wise from alpha beast.
