Hinderer blade finish

Hello all! Has anyone seen or know what the blade finish is on this XM-18 3”? I purchased this second hand, it originally had a black G-10 scale and different scale hardware. It almost looks like BFPU but I’ve not seen one so “uniform”. Box doesn’t say any special. Thanks for any help.

Lol. I actually did this one. Ferric chloride and masked off the nagative spaces. I sold it because i liked the 3.5 more. It looks awesome in the full ti!

Perfect!! Mystery solved. You did a nice job it looks stock, I wonder if it had been etched by someone but it looked to perfect. Thanks for the reply. Are you also the one who carved “king” on the liner?

Na only that one but i might try again on one of the fixed blades I make.
