Hello and excuse my ignorance on the subject, but upon picking out or buying a XM-18 (spanto in my case) what color ano job is more rare, hard to get or will effect the resell value of the knife?
Battle blue or battle bronze?
Ive seen them both for sale and the prices were the same..Is it just personal preference?
On another note, Im having cold feet, Is there really a difference between the ZT offerings? I have the 566 and it seems just a wee bit small.
Hinderer people give me the push I need! :D

The answer to the first part is, it's all subjective. The basic knife, even in ano is just the start. So here's a Spanto XM18 3.5 I bought on the forum. But you would not recognize it now. It's now got a RHK CF scale, crusader filler tab, bronze crusader clip, bronze Ti standoffs, female and male bronze handle screws and a bronze lockbar tab. I paid more for all the assories than I did for the knife.

You need deep pockets if you get bit by the Hinderer bug.

I really loved my ZT knives and still have a few. But I sold most off to fund my Hinderer purchases.

As to your second question, the ZT 562 and XM18 3.5 match up size wise. I hateded to part with my 562 as I considered it the best all around ZT.

You should look around on the exchange for a used XM18 3.5. If you can nab one between $350-$400 (or less) it'll give you a first hand experience with one.

Thank you Mike, Ive enjoyed both your beautiful Hinderer pictures and posts shared over the forum!

Another question while im thinking of it, do the gen 4 come with stainless pivot and screws or titanium?

Stainless for the basic knife. But Rick and crew are always producing limited runs with titanium.

Many RHK authorized dealers and custom sellers have titanium goodies available.
