Hinderer Dilemma

I'm hoping someone can provide me some advice on my 'Hinderer dilemma.'

I have purchase several 3.5" XM18's, 3" XM-18's, & even a couple of Eklipse from the secondary market. I have purchased additional scales & anodized Ti parts from RHK directly. I the past week, I purchased Ti parts for a 3" XM - a bronze Ti pivot screw, bronze Ti handle screws, & bronze clip, all on different days (since the web site listed parts availability on different days). I received all the parts correctly - except for the Ti handle screws - someone in shipping goofed & sent me another Ti pivot screw. Okay, mistakes happen.

I proceeded to send an email to Rob indicating the wrong shipment & an email to service@rickhindererknives.com this past Thursday - No reply. I sent another email to Rob, as well as to sales@rickhindererknives.com, & called the 303 number given in the shipping email. The emails again went unanswered & the phone mailbox was full. I left my callback number that was supposed to be sent to Rob's(?) pager, but no one called. I did this all over again on Friday, & still no replies, callbacks, or even an acknowledgement that RHK received the emails & phone numbers, much less acknowledgement that my order was not properly fulfilled.

I love Hinderer knives & the quality they exude. From everything I have read & seen, RHK is a First Class manufacturer in every way. But I am now perplexed & a little anxious that I can't even get in touch with anyone there at the Ranch - Rob, Customer Service, no one! The one number that I have been able to find on RHK has its mailbox full & no one is returning calls.

Is this normal???? What can I do to get in touch with Rob, or someone at the Ranch to get this mis-shipment corrected???

Chill out it can take a few days to get a reply. Rob maybe out of the office you never know.

Yeah......I wouldn't worry. Rob or someone from RHK will get back to you.
Hinderer is the best company I (and many here) have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service.

I mean......you know the name of the guy you want to contact.....and he's not in India........
(Unless RHK has outsourced Rob in the last week or so.....:D)

Have faith.......RHK will get this corrected for you.

Thanks for putting my mind more at ease, guys. I was hoping to get this mis-shipment fixed before they run out of 3" bronze Ti handle screws again!!

I recently had a shipping error as well and Rob was all over it. I also somehow lost a stop pin and Rob immediately sent me one. I will bet they are out of town, their customer service is legendary.

Please try not to get too excited, I think most of the shop is currently out of town for a few days.

Over years my experience with Hinderer support and especially Rob was nothing but excellent. No worries, he will get back with you.

As Mike mentioned, Rob and Rick are both out of town during the period in question. Give them a chance to recover on Monday and allow them time to get back to you.
