Hinderer DLC or Battle Black? What's the difference?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking at the Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Gen 6. I see you can get it with a DLC coated blade, or in Battle Black coated.
What's the difference besides the Battle Black being darker?
Which finish will stand the test of time & still look good after use?

I’m a real big fan of the Stonewashed DLC. Check out that video though. Whitty does a fantastic job describing al of Hinderers finishes, great video
