Quick question for you RHK Herders out there. Which generation of the RHK Eklipse is the current one? Gen 2 or Gen 3? And does the Gen 2 come with the Tri Way pivot system?

I believe it's 2nd generation.

There is also a 3 inch model.

I bought one a few months ago, and it was Gen 3 w/ Tri Way Pivot. Awesome knife.

Thank you! I saw a listing for sale that specifically noted "Gen 2" but also "Tri Way". Something doesn't seem right. I'll contact the seller before jumping in.

Current generation of the Eklipse with the Tri-Way is the 3rd generation.

It can be hard to keep track of all the generations of Hinderers, especially some of the less common models like the Eklipse. I wouldn't be too worried if the listing said the wrong generation. Most people don't even realize that the 3" and 3.5" XM-18s are on different generations, even though both have the lock insert and Tri-Way
