Hinderer extreme duty alum pens ?

Hello,
Just wondering who owns one of these pens and are they really
built by Mike H or is it an out source thing ? I love the Titanium version,
but just cant seem to get myself to pay that much. The Alum version is
an option, but just looking for first hand opinions. Thanks in advance :)

I own one and it is a great tool!
I do believe they are made by Rick Hinderer and his wife Lori.
I purchased mine from Arizona Custom Knives (located in Florida :D)

thanks for the reply and pic. I quess not alot of people own these because
after 62 views, only one reply :) The one thing I dont like about the pen is
that it uses the fisher refill. Nice looking XM18, I wish I had snagged a
3 incher :(

ive had one (from arizona custom as well) for a few weeks.

i don't carry it much, since its kinda large for a pen. but it is nice, especially since it is so much cheaper than the ti version.

im not crazy about the fisher refills either, but i read here that they had fixed the problem of the ink leaving globs on paper. im thinking of having it milled out for a different cartridge.
