Looking for thoughts/review/experience with the hinderer flashpoint.

Bump.
Anyone?
It's expensive for a little fixed blade, someone help me decide if it is worth it!

It's your money. Hence, only you can determine if it is worth it. At that size, I would strongly prefer a Bradford Guardian 3. Slightly more steel and far more scale options at a lower price.

Cool thanks guys. I think you're both right, probably better options at that pricepoint.

I would buy one if I was single , they look pretty awesome
Hahah. Yes they are very pretty, tanky and robust and useful looking knives. But they are also small and expensive. And i am not single either haha, so not much spending money here either! Tough choice

You only live once , the last ten minutes I've been fixated on this one , thank you for bringing it back to my attention

Hahah. You seem as tempted as I am.
Let me know what you end up deciding on!
If here in Australia we could edc knives, I would have bought this by now 100%

I used to use mine plenty but that was when the only option was a spanto tip. If you want a small knife to slice and cut, there are better options. If you want a small knife that is idiot proof (I lent mine to friends knowing they could not easily damage it), there still might be better options but in that price point..... the Hinderer is an option.

IMHO For the price you could get an amazing custom, or one of the popular fixed blade productions. Survive!, Carothers, Fallkniven, etc.
I would check out the knife maker for sale area on the forums and talk one of the many makers into making a knife. You can choose design, Steel, etc.

Yup.

The Flashpoint is pretty small, yet I don't find fixed blades of that length make very good neck knives. So I chose the FXM as it makes an awesome belt knife. I guess I'm saying a lot depends upon how you choose to carry it.
