Hinderer Gerbers?

What do you guys think about these hinderer designed gerber made knives. In theory it could work, but it might have not been executed right, well because its gerber. I love knife collaborations(Buck/Striders, BM/snodys, ZT300's) so my hopes are high on this one. Pass or Buy?

I got a torch 2 for a friend of mine as a Groomsman gift, and that thing is a beast. Really heavy duty build. He routinely beats the hell outta it,since he doesn't understand its a knife, not a screwdriver or prybar, and it's holding up well. I'm thinking about picking up the little torch, the one that looks like a baby XM, just out of curiosity.
