Well as a ohio boy , I aways wanted one . It will fit right in with my busses and the lt wright. The hinderer i wanted was the liner lock in a three inch blade . Fooled around as was too late
He is using magnacut now and mine will be in that steel awhile back I finally found a chris reeve umnumzaan new in the box in magnacut. My first magnacut so far so good .
I believe I will carry the half track . Red handles and a working finish , at blade I almost bought a mcnee knife but still had an order in for a zaan . Too many 500 dollar knives are hard on the budget 😕 . I hope this is everything they say about them . You young guys are so lucky to have this many choices. Made here made right

Mine finally got here. It a hunk of titanium and steel . Once I gave it a few drops of mineral oil it got a lot smoother, i mean a lot ! I don't see anything that disappoints on the finish . But I will continue to look it over . The blade came fairly sharp, shaving sharp actually. It has a thin edge , thinner than the last Chris Reeve I got. I like the grind and shape. The working finish is nice for a usable knife . Wants and needs , i don't know if anyone makes a lanyard pin or some way to have a lanyard. Needs I don't care for Philips screws, most likely it will not cause trouble or even be removed.
Yes I would buy another hinderer.

I've seen a bunch of people put the Halftrack forth as a Hinderer for people who don't like Hinderers, and I can understand the sentiment. I had an XM18 before that I liked, but didn't think the quality justified the price so I sold it. However, the Halftrack fits the hand so well for a knife small enough for the fifth pocket that it's a keeper.
