Hinderer Investigator Pen Question

I got a new investigator pen in the mail. Are the threads on the pointy end supposed to look like this?

They appear to be rolled over.

Just checked mine and the threads look perfect. Mine were sharp to the touch when I got it but have smoothed out with use. Those do look a little buggered.
