Hinderer prices/discount.

I contacted Hinderer Knives about using the discount for certain professionals. In reply I was told they no longer do the discount but I could order directly from them. The prices they quoted were $350 and $550 for xm-18, 24. Those prices are much lower than retail so what's the deal? Is there a discount for LEO's or what? Just wondering because at those prices I would probably buy 2.
 
Those prices technically are retail. Hinderer only sells directly to dealers and active duty military, law enforcement, and EMT. You would pay a premium on the secondary market because those prices are only attainable if you fit into one of those categories. I would consider that a "discount" anyway.
 
The retail price for XM-18's is $385, $550 for the XM-24, same prices since the knives came out.

The discount you meant was probably the 10% extra discount for the first responders.
 
Read the stickies. There's only two of them and title of each helps a bit in determining the words within.
 
And $350 is NOT ACCURATE. See Rob's post above as well as the stickies that do include pricing info.

I believe you just read the email wrong, the 18's are $385, the 24's are $550.

In that same email I had mentioned when to contact us again regarding the 24's. The forums are for fun, if you have further order questions contact me directly.
