Hi guys,

So I traded into a lightly used Hinderer XM18 3.5 non flipper in CTS-XHP steel. To be honest, this is a sweet knife and I'm leaning towards keeping it and putting her to use but there is another side that says this is too nice and pricey of a knife(for me anyway) to use and I should trade it or sell it. My problem is I really have no idea what the knife is worth and was hoping some could help me with an approximate value on the knife. Any help is appreciated and feel free to talk me into keeping the knife:D Here are a few pics. Thanks, Trevor~

If it ain't a flipper it ain't worth keepin'...I'll let you sell it to me...and I won't ask where ya' got it. How'z $50:D

Seriously though... its a nice knife...if you can afford to keep it... I'd use the hell out of it, its what Rick builds them for.

I know what you mean. I just made it home and handled my XM 3.5 non-flipper out of the box. I don't want to use it, but I know I eventually will. What surprised me is how big the 3.5 slicer is. The XMs are massive. They are hard to find, maybe its best to keep and use it.

It's already used, right? Keep it and use it... Priceless! ;)

EEWWW sorry but i do not like the two different handle materials why can it not just be the same on both sides

Nice folder, but no flipper. You might try auction sites for pricing.
Sent you an email.
Sonny

It should go for somewhere around 700 on Ebay regardless of not being a flipper...Or sell it to me for 450 so I can have the painful burden of using it.

Does the fact that it's not a flipper really affect the value much? Not that I could ever afford one, but I'd want a non-flipper by far. Weird that it might make any significant sort of difference, value-wise.

There's one on the exchange right now that's pretty much identical to your XM going for $695. The blue ano'ed clip and filler tab might fetch you more, but that's just a guess.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I just saw the one on the exchange fly out of here so I guess I have an idea. Going to mull around what I'm going to do. You guys rock! Trevor~

Man, Use It.
That's An EXCELLENT Knife You Have There.
Who Cares How High End It Is? It's A Knife, A Tool, It's Made To Be Used.
And The Fact That It's A Tank Of A Knife And Can Handle A LOT Makes It Even More Thrilling To Use!!!
I Wish I Could Afford One. But I Know Once I Finally Get One, One Day, I'll Use The Hell Out Of It.

I Would Say With The Clip, And Filler Tab... Around $750 - $800. More On The $750 Side Though.

Hinderer XM-18 Non-Flippers Go For Around $700 Or That's The Usual.
But With The Fancy Clip And Filler Tab, That Fetches A Little More Money.

So I Think $750 Is About Right.

I'd Keep It And Use It, But It's Your Knife, So Really That's Up To You.
But If You Want To Sell/Trade It, Your Value Is Around $750.

Good Luck With Deciding What To Do!

$750 Would Give Someone A Decent Deal, And It's Not Overbearing Of You To Put It At That Price.
It's A Fair Price That Someone Wouldn't Argue With Because It Has The Little Fancy Extras.
And You Get A Good Amount Of Money As Well.
