How different is Hinderer Skinny from xm-24? Am thinking about replace my xm-18 spanto and ZT 0561 with a skinny but am not sure how much wow I will get.

The hinderer XM-24 skinny is just the handle width of the xm-18(0.52") with the length of a normal XM-24. This reduces the weight I think to around 6.7oz. I was personally interested however the steel is s35VN which I do really like but for that price I want M390 or 20CV, and the steel being so close to S30V on my ZT 0301's I couldn't justify the purchase, keeping my ZT 0301's as my go to large folder.

Gideons is correct on the size. I personally love Hinderers s35VN. The wow factor for size, and how it feels in hand is definitely there. I also like that it rides in the pocket a little lighter and thinner. Much easier to get my hand past. The biggest wow factor in my book has been the way these flip. To me everyone I have handled has been the best flipper to date from Hinderer. Even more so than the original XM-24.

I’d like to see a 3” Slicer with the handle stock of a 3.5” XM but retaining the 3” XM’s blade stock.
