Hinderer teflon washers

I was under the impression that the two teflon washers inside the standard XM-18 were different sizes, for who knows what reason. My recent GEN4 acquisition has two washers of the same size/dimension however. Should i be concerned?
 
The washers in my Gen 4 are different sizes...email Rob and get his opinion...he is the best source for answers. (outside of Rick)

Not really, as long as the one on the lock side doesn't interfere with the lock, you are good to go. When there are two sizes (outside diameter, inside diameter is the same), the smaller one goes on the lockside.
 
My Gen 4 3.5 has the same size washers on both sides also. Both very small actually. It doesn't seem to affect anything. I wonder if they started using the same size washers on both sides recently??
 
First off, Thanks Rob for the lightning fast service! I had sent a request for a couple replacement washers awhile ago (I accidentally folded one in half when I was doing my first takedown on the XM-18) and somewhere along the border the envelope must have gotten lost. When I hit Rob up again he immediately dispatched another SEVERAL sets of replacements. A lot of the praises nearly fall into the "fanboy" category but honestly, I don't know of any other business with this kind of personal attention and such a quick response time. The only other company which comes close, which is also strictly USA made and with ridiculously good fit and finish is Bridge City Tools out of Portland. CRK service is not so shabby either actually, but the Hinderer guys are super generous with their product support and time. Big UP!
 
Well, heh. My 3in did have the same size washers. However, one was deformed and Rob mailed me some new ones (lightning fast to boot), and they are indeed different sizes. ;)
