I have some Monkey edge Ti scales on a XM-3". Very nice....good grip. Would love to get some for my XM-3.5

Bill

I have the textured Hinderer Ti scale on my 24 and love it. It gives the knife a finished look not offered by mixing materials. I will be putting them on my Gen 4 18 3.5's once they are offered. It is also great that there are color and finish options on these. Gives the owner the ability to personalize their Hinderers. I think when it comes to a choice between Hinderer and Monkey's Edge, that boils down to the individual. The textured Hinderer Ti looks classic Hinderer, a d I like that. Coincidentally, I just ordered a replacement Hinderer textured scale for my new ZT/Hinderer 0550. It is G10, but sports the Hinderer texture pattern.

I would love to buy a titanium scale for my XM-24, but unfortunately they are not to be found.

*Post Removed* Hey Squints, that's not an appropriate post for a manufactures forum, at least not in ours. Feel free to drop me a PM or email (rob@rickhindererknives.com) if you have an issue or concern. Thanks, Rob

I will definitely be getting some textured Ti's from Rick. Seems like a natural "next step" turning the knife into ALL Ti (as well as keeping it ALL Hinderer)

Question on the Hinderer titanium scales. How are you supposed to know when more we be available? I tried to buy one this evening along with some other things at the RH store, but all I got was a "Sorry. Out of stock" on the XM-24 scales. I searched all of the dealers and nobody had one for the XM-24.

I check in every few days and look. Otherwise, as a BF member I imagine asking here or shooting Rob an email will tell you what you need to know (approximately)

We've just finished up the 3" and 3.5" those are back up on the site. I would assume around 3 weeks for the XM-24's, that goes for ours and the MonkeyEdge Frags.

I highly recommend textured Ti scales to those considering the purchase. I know they may not be easy to come by, but persistence eventually pays off (majority of the time).
This thread needs more pictures. Here is "lowish" quality cell pic of a stellar quality product.

Got Ti Frag on 3" XM, it's awesome, but will look into the regular ti to see if it offers a little bit better grip. Someone else feel free to chime in if they have both and compare the textures.

I ordered the bronze stand-offs, bronze lanyard, and the bronze clip yesterday. As soon as the bronze titanium scales are available for the XM-24, I will get that as well. I am loving my XM-24. It is becoming one of my favorite knives
